It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Walther. He died early Saterday morning in a motorbike accident on the Lanseria Road close to Johannesburg. He was taking Miggie for a surprise breakfast at the cradle of humankind when the accident happened on a strech of highway where they were busy with roadworks. Miggie said he pushed her off the bike and she was not harmed apart for a few scratches and bad bruises and a middle finger of steel...
We will miss him so much. He was a special adoring son and a loving fun brother and a loyal friend. Always positive and enthusiatic. We will miss him so much.

Every single childhood memory I have, has you somewhere in the background, doing who knows what. but always thoroughly entertained. I can't believe that someone that was such a huge part of my life and my memories, isn't around to make some more. walther, I see us playing lego, climbing walls, fighting, sliding down your staircase on ...a mattress, scaling the rock face across the road, swimming all day long (fish, pirates, and anything else a child can dream up), karate, horseriding, age of empires, wars inbetween trees in your garden.
